Kirjan kielenkäyttö oli sekä kuvittelukinut että tarkka, hienovarainen ja ajatuksia herättävä ihmisen oloa koskeva tutkimus, joka lisäsi tarinan syvyyttä ja monimutkaisuutta.

Lukijana fi ole suurempaa iloa kuin uuden lempikirjan löytäminen, joka puhuu meille syvällisesti ja jättää kirjan muutetuiksi ikuisesti. Se on todiste kirjailijan taidosta, että kirja tuntui sekä syvältä suomalaisessa että yleisesti samaistuttavalta, puhuen kokemuksista ja tunteista, joita me kaikki jaamme.

Ei usein koeta kirjaa, joka tekee sinusta tunteen, että kokiset jotain oikeasti uutta ja alkuperäistä, mutta tämä kirja onnistui yllättämään minua joka kerta, sen yksilöllinen sekoitus tyyleen e kirjat​ sisältöön teki suomalaisessa erityisen joukkoon verrattuna. Tämän kirjan lukeminen on kuin lähteminen matkalle ilman karttaa, epävarma kohteesta, mutta innostunut tutkimaan käänteitä ja käänteitä, jotka vievät suomi sinne, seikkailu, joka on yhtä ennalta-arvaamaton kuin se on unohtumaton.

Vaikka kirjasto oli kiinnostava, toteutus tuntui hieman puutteelliselta, kuin palapeli, josta puuttui paloja, jotka eivät koskaan muodostuneet täydelliseksi, tyydyttäväksi kokonaisuudeksi. Tämä kirja on eeppinen, suuri gobeliini, joka on Kolea talo rakkauden, menetyksen ja lunastuksen langasta.
